High Peak Bright Futures is a project aimed at inspiring the new generation to be more involved in artistic and cultural projects in the High Peak area. Connecting institutions such as museums and theatres with schools to orchestrate educational programmes that help the younger generation to be empowered to start their own projects in the Buxton, New Mills and Glossop areas.

The logo played with the contrast of colour and light to represent the bright futures  element of the project. The symbol is a minimal representation of the peak and the star is representing the "bright future".

The final deliverable contained many size variations of the logo to be used in different scenarios, as the project is intending to be really wide reaching in terms of it's scope and application.

We also created a seamless repeatable brand pattern that consists of icons inspired by each hub area, such as the Archamedes Screw in New Mills and the Crescent in Buxton.

This is what Local said about the project:

"Local commissioned BenJac Design in March to develop a set of logos, a brand suite and branding guidelines for the new High Peak Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP) - High Peak, Bright Futures.

The group were extremely impressed with Ben's attention to detail, creativity, communication and how he worked with a complex brief. During the process we articulated amendments and asked for experimentation with new colourways and aesthetic devices to bring the brand together.

Ben was quick to respond with innovative and thoughtful designs that were both in line with the brief and pushed the boundaries of what we thought were possible for the designs.

The resulting suite of designs and assets communicated a complex structure, wit multiple stakeholders, regions and partners involved in a dynamic, interesting and importantly, simple manner which really impressed us as clients.

On behalf of the LCEP and Local Creative Projects Ltd, I can highly recommend Ben's services and we will certainly be working with him again in the future."
